Information can be sent across the network in a structured data format.  Communication can be based on electronic forms and business rules that provide recipients with complete, error-free data.

Workflow
To maximize the efficiency of communication within the network, messages are intelligently routed between individuals as well as configured groups of users who manage certain areas of responsibility within a healthcare organization. For workflow-oriented messages, the current status of a communication can be referenced in real-time between all parties to allow the “closing of the loop” that is so often missing in healthcare communication.

Security
All communication throughout the network is encrypted between endpoints. RMD has established the administrative, physical, and technical safeguards to ensure the environment is HIPAA compliant.

Integration services
An industry leading integration engine is deployed within the RMD solution to support rapid integration between existing healthcare systems. Integration services allow for clinical results to be available in the network, which can be used as part of the communication to other medical staff persons and patients.
